The story of Naksh Carpets began long before the company itself was founded. In the 1980s, in Mirzapur, India—a city celebrated around the world for its handcrafted carpets—our family embarked on a journey rooted in craftsmanship, dedication, and integrity. Every carpet was created by skilled artisans whose hands transformed simple threads into timeless works of art.

Growing up in this environment, owners of Naksh, Rahul and Rupali didn't just witness carpet making—they lived it.

Their childhood was filled with the sights and sounds of artisans at work, colorful yarns stacked in workshops, intricate designs taking shape, and an unwavering respect for quality that had been passed down through generations. It wasn't simply a family business; it was a lifelong education in patience, precision, and the value of creating something meaningful.

As the world of textiles evolved, so did their vision.

In 2017, Rahul and Rupali joined the family business with a shared dream—to preserve their family's rich heritage while embracing the future of rug making. They recognized the incredible potential of tufting, a craft that was empowering artists, designers, and entrepreneurs across the world to express their creativity in entirely new ways.

What they also noticed was a gap.
